Wednesday, October 24, 2012, Recovery Coach Academy Achievement Certificate received for promoting recovery by removing barriers and obstacles to recovery by serving as a personal guide and mentor for people seeking or in recovery.
Tuesday, October 23,2012, the Calvert County Board of Commissioners, Calvert County Commission for Women, and the Calvert County Crisis Intervention Center presented a Proclamation to Veronica Alston for opening her home to house and support women in need to rebuild their lives. She was recognized for her contribution to women in need which is given to a professional or volunteer who has shown outstanding service and assistance to victims of crimes against women.
